Job Description

A Workday Analyst responsible for configuring, optimizing, and supporting the Time Absence and Core HCM modules within the Workday platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable HR solutions and ensure system compliance and integration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, and implement scalable Workday Time Absence solutions, including absence plans, accruals, and eligibility rules.
  • Analyze business rules and local regulations to translate them into accurate Workday configurations.
  • Automate workflows, improve user experience, and develop reports and dashboards related to Time Absence.
  • Ensure seamless integration between Time Absence, Core HCM, payroll, and other Workday modules.
  • Monitor system performance, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with security and data privacy standards.
  • Participate in Workday releases, assess new features, and recommend adoption strategies.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and IT teams to support process improvements and system enhancements.
  • Provide end-user training, documentation, and support for Time Absence tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on Workday configuration experience with strong focus on Time Absence including eligibility rules, accruals, absence plans, and time tracking.
  • Strong technical expertise in Workday configuration, including business processes, calculated fields, reporting, and integrations.
  • Proven ability to gather requirements, analyze diverse business rules, and deliver scalable, compliant solutions.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and using tools such as ServiceNow and Jira.
  • Hands-on experience with the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery platform, including SLA management, ticket triaging protocols, and HR case handling.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment on diverse, complex issues.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across HR, Payroll, and IT functions.
