Value Consultant

Pure is looking for a strong Value Specialist that will serve as a vital resource for delivering proposals of Pure Storage’s capabilities matching with customers’ business objectives. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing customer business cases and IT stack and providing client value propositions, business cases and proposals. The ideal candidate will be able to work with a disparate team from Pure via outstanding documentation and deliverables.

• 3-7+ years of experience in management consulting, value consulting, value engineering, financial/investment analysis, and/or other applicable roles
• You will have worked at a large consulting firm or a financial services company and preferably also a technology vendor in a pre sales financial analysis role.
• Knowledge of financial analysis, research techniques & sources such as blogs, Hoovers, Ovum, Factiva, Gartner, Forrester etc
• Ability to write detailed content - summarising customer content, value and insights in Executive language
• Deep financial analysis and modeling of ROI and TCO concepts to justify business cases. Deep knowledge of & ability to demonstrate the practical use of IRR, NPV & Payback
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially sales engineers and account teams.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering value
• Familiarity with tools to enhance, automate and simplify the process of delivering outstanding & differentiated data insights
• Strong verbal and written communication of qualitative and quantitative business cases
• Must be self-managed, responsive, and dedicated to customer success
• Master’s Degree, with financial background
