As a Technical Writer, you will bridge the gap between complex hardware engineering and user execution, driving the documentation strategy for our next-generation hardware and networking products. Collaborating directly with globally distributed engineering, product, and support teams across Asia, Europe, and the Americas, you will transform nascent technologies into clear, impactful technical content. This is an opportunity to innovate at the intersection of hardware and AI, moving beyond traditional authoring to spearhead content optimization and automation. Your mission is to ensure our global customers and field teams have the precise, high-quality knowledge they need to succeed from day one.
• Own the Hardware Documentation Lifecycle: Research, architect, and deliver end-to-end hardware documentation—including Service, Upgrade, Installation, and Site Preparation Guides—ensuring accurate, clear, and timely content that directly enables seamless customer deployments.
• Drive AI & Automation Innovation: Curate, review, and optimize AI-generated content and leverage AI tools to identify content reuse, accelerate documentation cycles, and future-proof our publishing workflows.
• Collaborate and Investigate Cross-Functionally: Partner deeply with domain engineers to test nascent features on production systems, translate technical specs into structured DITA XML format, and collaborate with global peers to provide peer reviews and editorial guidance.
• Champion Content Optimization & UX: Structuralize content for maximum scalability, implement SEO optimization and user engagement analytics, and identify content gaps to continuously elevate documentation standards and customer satisfaction.
• Manage High-Impact Release Milestones: Coordinate within Agile frameworks using Jira and Confluence to balance multiple complex projects simultaneously, ensuring all technical assets align perfectly with product release timelines.
• Hardware & Networking Literacy: Proven ability to comprehend, test, and document complex hardware systems, networking products, and technical specifications into user-centric documentation.
• Component Content Management Expertise: Demonstrated proficiency authoring structured, reusable content within a Component Content Management System (CCMS) using DITA XML architectures, alongside experience navigating platform migrations.
• AI Adaptability & Technical Agility: Hands-on familiarity with, or a strong aptitude for, integrating AI and automation tools into writing workflows to expedite creation, execute quality checks, and optimize content for both human and AI consumption.
• Global Communication & Project Leadership: Exceptional English communication and relationship-building skills, with a track record of mentoring peers, managing strict deadlines across global time zones, and turning feedback from support and customers into actionable content updates.
• Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
