The role involves leveraging technical expertise to support sales and implementation of storage solutions, working closely with customers and internal teams to develop innovative, customer-focused storage architectures and strategies in a pre-sales capacity.
Key Responsibilities
Leverage technical expertise to promote adoption of EverPURE solutions with prospects and existing customers in enterprise accounts.
Understand customer business goals and pain points to propose tailored technical solutions.
Collaborate with sales, partners, and marketing teams to develop strategies that drive revenue growth.
Conduct evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations to demonstrate product capabilities.
Create and deliver technical presentations and responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Translate customer requirements into innovative storage solutions to support their growth.
Identify and pursue new opportunities for interoperability, testing, and validation.
Stay current with market trends, competitive landscape, and emerging storage architectures.
Support the technical aspects of pre-sales activities, including demonstrations and technical leadership.
Requirements
Pre-sales experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is required.
A minimum of 5 or more years of relevant experience in technology, design, and communications is required.
Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client server and web-based computing solutions.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
Familiarity with current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN, Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is required.
Experience contributing significant portions or leading responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience.
Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, AWS well-architected framework, microservices architecture is a plus.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is required.
Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts is preferred.
Knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Prem, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes (k8s), and microservices architectures is a plus.
Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking concepts.
Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms is a plus.
Experience with installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory, storage subsystems architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, windowing systems.
Understanding of storage-intensive applications and their requirements such as structured databases (SQL, Oracle) is highly desirable.
Familiarity with Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment.
Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills.
Must be able to work from the Perth office in compliance with company policies.
