This is a high-impact presales engineering position within our elite Worldwide Strategics organization. In this role, you will focus exclusively on our Tier 1 Financial Services Institutions (FSI) across the UK and broader EMEA landscape. You will combine master-level technical depth with strategic account execution, serving as a trusted technical advisor to some of our most vital global accounts, including Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, LSEG, RBS, and UBS. You will sit at the intersection of customer business priorities, complex enterprise architectures, and Everpure’s state-of-the-art data platform to drive meaningful business outcomes.
• Build Trusted Relationships: Develop deep, technical, and advisory relationships with customer executives, enterprise architects, platform teams, and operational stakeholders across major global FSI accounts.
• Lead Presales Engagement: Drive the technical sales cycle from initial discovery and problem diagnosis through architecture design, technical validation (proofs of concept/demos), business justification, and deal closure.
• Architect Technical Strategies: Translate FSI business imperatives into resilient technical architectures spanning infrastructure modernization, cyber recovery, cloud-native platforms, Kubernetes, and AI-ready workloads.
• Execute Cross-Functional Strategy: Partner seamlessly in a matrixed global organization with Global Account Managers, Strategic Account Executives, Client Technical Directors, Cloud Native Architects, Value Management, and partner ecosystems to move large pursuits forward.
• Drive Account Planning: Contribute to multi-year strategic account plans, mapping Everpure's long-term technical roadmaps to the regulatory, security, and operational demands of global financial ecosystems.
• Remove Friction: Bring structure, clarity, and technical authority to complex pursuits, aggressively unblocking technical hurdles to keep execution on track.
• Enterprise Presales Depth: Proven systems engineering or solutions architecture experience in enterprise infrastructure, storage, data platforms, or hybrid cloud technologies.
• Strategic & Executive Presence: Experience successfully navigating large, high-value strategic accounts where technical credibility with engineers and executive presence with the C-suite matter equally.
• FSI Industry Acumen: A solid understanding of financial services environments, including the operational resilience, cyber security, regulatory compliance, and risk frameworks that dictate FSI decision-making.
• Consultative Approach: Exceptional ability to connect low-level technological capabilities directly to tangible business value, ROI, and core corporate strategy.
• Matrix Collaboration: Ability to lead and influence across matrixed, global account teams, specialist organizations, and services business units.
• Preferred Skills: Exposure to cloud-native ecosystems (Kubernetes, containerized stateful workloads), cyber resilience architectures, data protection, or advanced analytics/AI workloads. Experience handling long, multi-million-dollar enterprise sales cycles is a plus.
• In-Office Policy Note: We are primarily an in-office environment; however, because this specific position is designated as a field-based, account-aligned remote role within the United Kingdom, you will be expected to work productively from your remote workspace and travel frequently to customer sites across the UK and EMEA patch as dictated by business needs.
