Job Description
This role involves selling enterprise storage technology and data solutions, focusing on AI and HPC markets, while building customer relationships and driving sales growth. The position requires strategic sales planning, collaboration with product teams, and a strong understanding of AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Evangelize all-flash enterprise storage technology and data solutions.
- Build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure's value.
- Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans for new customer acquisition.
- Drive and manage a robust pipeline of sales activity to meet quotas.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to exceed revenue targets.
- Prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
- Articulate the value proposition of solutions in the context of AI and HPC workloads.
- Collaborate with product teams to provide market feedback.
- Work closely with sales engineers and customer success teams to ensure client satisfaction.
- Partner with marketing to develop targeted campaigns and attend industry events.
Requirements
- 10 years of enterprise sales experience, with at least 3 years of sales/business development selling to AI and HPC related technologies or solutions, with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development.
- Clear experience selling business solutions to the C-Suite SVP/VP levels of F1000 companies.
- Demonstrable track record of consistently meeting or exceeding multi-million-dollar sales quotas in a high-growth environment.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and their AI/ML services.
- Strong understanding of AI and HPC technologies, machine learning workflows, and related infrastructure requirements.
- Familiarity with data analytics, big data technologies, and data science workflows.
- Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years.
- Must be located in the Bay Area or Greater Los Angeles Area.
