Job Description
The Director of GTM Sourcing at Pure Storage will develop and execute sourcing strategies to optimize supplier performance and reduce costs across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Experience. This role involves leading sourcing initiatives, negotiating contracts, and leveraging data analytics to enhance supply chain resilience and align with company objectives.
Responsibilities
- •Develop and execute a GTM Sourcing Strategy that aligns with company goals.
- •Negotiate global spend for key GTM-related categories.
- •Lead supplier selection, performance management, and supply base optimization.
- •Implement and manage a Preferred Supplier Program.
- •Develop and execute sourcing strategies to streamline applications.
- •Negotiate contracts and business terms with key suppliers.
- •Leverage data analytics to monitor sourcing metrics and track cost savings.
- •Collaborate with Legal to establish optimal contract terms.
Requirements
- •10 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, or Supply Chain Management with a strong focus on GTM-related functions (CX, Sales, Marketing).
- •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent.
- •Proven ability to build and manage strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to drive alignment and business impact.
- •Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing cost savings and optimizing supplier performance.
- •Ability to analyze data, track savings, and use reporting tools to support strategy and decision-making.
- •Experience in leading and scaling a global sourcing team within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- •Detail-oriented, customer-focused, process-savvy, and adaptable to evolving business needs.
- •Willingness to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure's policies.
