Job Description
The Technical Program Manager for Fleet Reliability Engineering at Pure Storage will oversee projects and processes to ensure the reliability of customer FlashBlade systems, managing critical escalations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product performance and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage critical customer escalations and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Drive initiatives to improve Fleet Reliability and enhance testing and processes.
- Manage maintenance releases and processes for delivering critical fixes.
- Oversee software projects that improve response times and issue tracking.
- Develop project schedules, identify dependencies, and maintain execution.
- Monitor Fleet Reliability metrics and contribute to continuous improvement planning.
- Coordinate operational support for Monthly updates, Quarterly Business Reviews, and Annual Planning.
- Advocate for customer solutions and improvements in internal meetings.
Requirements
- Experience as a Technical Program Manager.
- BS/MS in computer science, MBA or engineering management equivalent preferred.
- Proven expertise managing projects throughout the entire SDLC, including investigation, design, execution and delivering products to market on schedule while addressing customer feedback in development.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, with regular demonstrated ability to prioritize and adapt under pressure.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to understand high-level technical architecture and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical, cross-functional groups.
- Able to identify and deliver on process changes that speed execution.
- Strong focus on customer service and experience engaging with customers in troubleshooting or escalation scenarios.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams such as hardware, sales, and customer support.
- This role is office-centric, requiring presence in the office.
