Job Description
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high-availability backend systems for access control and authorization within a cloud-based data storage environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure system scalability, security, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-availability backend services for access control systems.
- Drive end-to-end development, from experimenting with new technologies to deployment.
- Ensure code quality through testing, code reviews, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in modern backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Golang with a proven track record of designing and launching complex software components.
- Experience in building and scaling applications within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and strong command of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Rigorous understanding of data structures, algorithms, SQL, and cloud networking infrastructure to build efficient, high-performance systems.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain high-availability processing services that meet rigorous security and compliance standards for mission-critical data.
- Experience owning the end-to-end development cycle from experimenting with new technologies to production deployment.
- Experience in integrating unit testing, comprehensive code reviews, and automated CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless, continuous delivery.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, maintaining system inter-operability and long-term maintainability.
- Work from the Prague, Czech Republic office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
