Job Description
The Senior Software Engineer for the Hyperscale Product Escalations team at Pure Storage will focus on resolving complex technical issues related to cloud storage systems, developing software for predictive analysis, and enhancing system health diagnostics in a dynamic team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead investigation and resolution of emergent engineering problems from the field.
- Create and maintain services and tools to diagnose and protect the health of distributed systems.
- Develop next-generation analytics that anticipate new problems.
- Acquire a deep understanding of Pure's full software stack.
- Present complex engineering issues to the larger engineering team and executives.
- Interact directly with customers to support sales.
Requirements
- A solid background in software development.
- Experience with Linux, system administration, networking, and storage.
- 4 years of experience with Python, Go, C++, and Linux or other related programming languages.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field or equivalent industry experience.
- Ability to analyze complex systems and describe them in simplest terms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a creative approach to addressing technical requirements.
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office environment.
- Expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week.

Annual base salary range: USD 163,000.00 - USD 246,000.00
