Job Description
This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining secure, high-availability backend systems for access management and authorization, primarily in a cloud environment, to support scalable and mission-critical data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and maintain high-availability backend processing services ensuring security and compliance standards.
- Own the full development lifecycle from experimentation with new technologies to deployment.
- Implement code quality practices through unit testing, code reviews, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Requirements
- Proficiency in modern backend programming languages such as Python, Java, or Golang, with a proven track record of designing and launching complex software components.
- Experience in building and scaling applications within cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, with strong knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration.
- Rigorous understanding of data structures, algorithms, SQL, and cloud networking infrastructure to build efficient, high-performance systems.
- Ability to design, develop, and maintain high-availability processing services that meet rigorous security and compliance standards for mission-critical data.
- Experience owning the end-to-end development cycle from experimenting with new technologies to production deployment to ensure platform innovation.
- Experience in implementing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines, including unit testing and comprehensive code reviews, to guarantee seamless, continuous delivery.
- Strong collaboration skills to partner with stakeholders and translate complex business requirements into technical solutions, focusing on system interoperability and long-term maintainability.
- Work authorization and physical presence requirement to work primarily from the Prague, Czech Republic office in accordance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or approved leave.
