Job Description
The role involves leading software testing efforts, developing test plans and automation strategies, and ensuring product quality across multiple releases in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have extensive experience in software testing, strong programming skills, and the ability to mentor teams while adhering to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to multiple simultaneous releases
- Develop test plans and test strategies for multiple releases
- Identify testing gaps and provide inputs to improve quality
- Develop and maintain automation test suites
- Review test automation scripts, preferably in Golang
- Ensure product feature quality and delivery timelines
- Coordinate with dev test teams across geographies
- Work with QA architect to maintain and manage automation test suites
- Define and execute CI/CD pipelines as per the test strategy
Requirements
- 10 years of software testing experience
- Strong storage and file system experience
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8s) application life cycle
- Experience with cloud-native Kubernetes platforms such as AKS, EKS, GKE
- Strong programming skills in Python and Golang
- Ability to develop test plans
- Ability to handle multiple product feature releases
- Experience with tools like Jira, Confluence, and TestRail
- Working knowledge of AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure clouds
- Ability to develop and maintain automation test suites
- Experience in reviewing test automation scripts
- Ability to coordinate with development and testing teams across geographies
- Experience in managing CI/CD pipelines as per the test strategy
