Requirements

Education & Experience: BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 10+ years of software system testing experience.
Storage Domain Expertise: Deep knowledge of the storage stack — high availability, caching, flash, RAID, dedup/compression, filesystems, block storage, I/O paths, latency/throughput trade-offs, consistency, and replication — including designing test strategies for complex storage features.
Protocols & Virtualization: Knowledge of storage protocols (Fibre Channel, FCoE, iSCSI, NVMe, SCSI, NFS, SMB) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, OpenStack), plus experience across multiple operating systems (Linux/Windows/VMware).
Interoperability & Hands-On Lab Experience: Proven experience with interoperability testing, firmware updates, backwards compatibility, and upgrade paths, gained through hands-on work in hardware labs or data centers with storage arrays.
Test Automation & QA Methodology: Strong hands-on Python test automation skills, familiarity with IO tools (vdbench, Orion, IOmeter) and database technologies (Oracle/SQL, OOP concepts), and solid grounding in QA best practices, failure/corner-case scenario design, and root-cause analysis.
Analytical & Communication Skills: Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities, with excellent communication skills and the ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
