Job Description
The job involves leading product management for Pure Storage's FlashBlade product, focusing on developing and executing product strategy, conducting market analysis, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and evolve a comprehensive product strategy based on customer needs and market trends.
- Conduct thorough market and competitive landscape assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and articulate a go-to-market model.
- Work closely with engineering to prioritize enhancements and develop a product roadmap.
- Establish and monitor core customer journey metrics to drive customer success.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on technical and business matters related to the product area.
- Act as a spokesperson and champion for the product area, delivering presentations to various audiences.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in Product Management.
- Proven ability to develop a vision, strategy, and execution plan while balancing short-term revenue needs and long-term product direction.
- Ability to manage the overall business aspects of the offering and serve as a spokesperson both internally and to external audiences (partners, analysts, customers).
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to create programs, services, and ecosystem partnerships that provide end-to-end solutions for customers.
- Knowledge of market and competitive analysis and the ability to create addressable market models.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen.
- Experience in taking products to market with a focus on business growth.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Effective problem-solving abilities and innovative thinking.
- Adaptability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities and projects.
- Proven ability to take initiative and drive results.
- Enthusiasm for technology and a desire to collaborate with a world-class software engineering team.
- Ability to deliver compelling presentations to diverse internal and external audiences.
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
