Job Description
The role involves leading the design, development, and management of secure, scalable, and reliable enterprise cloud software systems, providing technical vision and mentorship, and overseeing full project lifecycles to deliver innovative data storage solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build secure, reliable, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems
- Promote adoption of best practices in software development, system design, and DevOps
- Provide technical vision, strategy, and leadership for the team
- Drive full lifecycle ownership of services from inception to production
- Architect innovative solutions to anticipate bottlenecks
- Act as a product owner to drive customer-centric features
- Coach and mentor junior and mid-level developers
- Lead medium to large software projects, coordinating requirements, estimates, and schedules
Requirements
- A minimum of 8 years of experience developing enterprise cloud software using Java or related programming languages.
- At least 3 years of experience in a tech lead or similar role overseeing software projects.
- Experience leading multiple projects from conception to release, coordinating the work of multiple engineers, and acting as the first point of contact for cross-functional teams.
- Proven design sensibility and the ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
- Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects with fast context switching between them.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, MongoDB, Kubernetes, containerization, and Spring Boot or similar technologies.
- A Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science; advanced degrees are considered a bonus.
