Job Description
This role involves supporting enterprise storage sales through technical leadership, customer engagement, solution design, and competitive positioning, primarily focusing on storage architectures, system evaluations, and market trends to drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop understanding of customer business needs and motivations
- Highlight the advantages of Pure Storage solutions to customers
- Refine sales strategies and technical tactics
- Provide technical leadership and expertise on storage products and architectures
- Manage evaluations, benchmarks, system configurations, and installations
- Create and deliver technical product and architecture presentations
- Translate customer requirements into innovative storage solutions
- Respond to RFI, RFP, and RFQ documents
- Identify and pursue new opportunities for interoperability, testing, and validation
- Collaborate with marketing to produce technical materials and support alliance plans
- Stay informed on market trends and competitive landscape to promote thought leadership
Requirements
- Pre-sales experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking or systems solutions to a combination of large enterprise accounts and data centers, with a minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience.
- Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client-server and web-based computing solutions.
- Prior experience in targeting new prospects and converting them into clients.
- Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs.
- Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN, UNIX OS, NFS file systems, and UNIX distributed network environment.
- Experience with installation and configuration of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystem, storage subsystems architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems.
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Premises, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers.
- Knowledge of VMWare, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking concepts.
- Professional standard verbal and written interpersonal skills in Turkish and English.
- BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical field, or equivalent experience.
