Job Description
The role involves providing technical pre-sales support for enterprise storage solutions, designing and architecting data storage systems, and partnering with government clients to support digital transformation initiatives aligned with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and deploy secure, simplified data solutions for public sector clients to support digital transformation and Vision 2030 initiatives.
- Develop a deep understanding of customer business needs and align technology solutions to achieve measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with sales teams and partners to create seamless customer experiences and drive revenue growth.
- Lead technical evaluations, benchmarks, and system configurations to demonstrate product capabilities.
- Create and deliver technical presentations and responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs to secure technical wins.
- Translate customer requirements into innovative storage and data solutions, including interoperability and performance testing.
- Stay current with industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to promote thought leadership.
- Support the sales process by providing technical expertise on storage architectures, networking, cloud, and virtualization technologies.
Requirements
- Pre-sales experience is required
- 5 or more years of relevant experience in supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts, with specific experience in the Public Sector within the country
- Deep understanding of the architecture, design, and implementation of multi-tiered client-server and web-based computing solutions
- Experience supporting the sales of enterprise storage, networking, systems, cloud, or software to enterprise accounts
- Contribute significant portions and/or lead responses to RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
- Superior knowledge of current and emerging storage architectures including FC, iSCSI, NAS, OSD, SAN, Linux, NFS file systems, and Linux distributed network environment
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, GCP cloud platforms
- Installation and configuration experience of distributed computing, multiprocessing, virtual memory subsystem, storage subsystems architecture, shared memory architectures, cache architectures, and windowing systems
- Familiarity with containers, Kubernetes (K8s), and Microservices architectures
- Strong knowledge of digital transformation to Cloud Native architecture, On-Premises, Public Cloud, Provisioning Automation, and Containers
- Knowledge of VMware, Local Area Networking, Ethernet, TCP/IP, and general networking
- Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills
- BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other technical degree, or equivalent experience
- Familiarity with modern web architecture such as LAMP stack, scale-out vs scale-up architectures, AWS Well-Architected Framework, Microservices architecture
- Curiosity and passion for technology, with the ability to explain and demonstrate new technology platforms and concepts to customers
- Must work from the Riyadh office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, travel, or approved leave
- Familiarity with storage-intensive applications and their requirements, such as structured databases like SQL and Oracle, is highly desirable
