The role involves leading and managing a team responsible for executing the sales order-to-cash process, ensuring operational excellence, driving performance, and implementing continuous improvements within an innovative data storage company.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and inspire the order processing team to execute the order-to-cash process effectively
Drive team performance using KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction and operational excellence
Act as a main escalation point for order issues, collaborating with internal functions to resolve problems
Mentor and develop team members through coaching on policies, procedures, and best practices
Apply continuous improvement strategies to enhance processes and systems within order management
Engage in cross-functional efforts to standardize operations and improve efficiencies
Manage resource deployment and workload during peak periods such as month-end and quarter-end close
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years of experience leading teams and managing direct reports, with a proven ability to motivate, coach, and develop talent.
Strong experience, preferably 5 years, working within an order management, finance operations, or supply chain function.
Demonstrated proficiency with CRM and ERP systems in an order processing capacity, such as Salesforce, Netsuite, or SAP.
Ability to execute, prioritize, and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, and sometimes non-routine environment.
Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional partners.
A strong work ethic and the ability to exude integrity in every aspect of professional conduct.
A Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in a business or supply chain-related field, or equivalent practical experience.
