Join us as a Materials Program Manager to orchestrate end-to-end material readiness and drive operational excellence within our global supply chain. In this role, you will bridge product concepts to mass production by managing Bill of Materials risk assessments, vendor quote lifecycles, and early production ramp-ups. You will act as the critical focal point connecting engineering, global commodity managers, cost operations, and our manufacturing partners to ensure fluid execution. Your operational ownership directly secures product launch timelines and optimizes structural product costs, fueling our ability to scale against global market demands.
• Ensure Material Readiness: Drive material and supply chain readiness from initial concept through early production handoff, executing clear-to-build material goals with manufacturing partners to proactively close shortages and eliminate program risks.
• Manage Material Risk: Conduct rigorous Bill of Materials risk analyses to identify, escalate, and mitigate sourcing vulnerabilities—such as component obsolescence, long lead times, or single-source dependencies—ensuring long-term pipeline stability.
• Optimize Product Costing: Validate cost BOMs, manage New Product Introduction quotes, and transition project economics into standard cost models to protect product margin healthy and drive competitive business advantages.
• Prevent Financial Liability: Oversee material demand changes to mitigate and actively disposition excess and obsolete inventory during critical product introduction phases, balancing material flexibility with financial discipline.
• Own Procurement Execution: Manage purchase orders to support qualification builds, proactively expediting or adjusting allocations to preserve engineering schedule integrity and ensure a seamless pipeline transition to mass production.
• Supply Chain Expertise: A seasoned understanding of material planning, logistics, or operations within an electronics-based manufacturing environment, enabling you to resolve a wide range of diverse scope issues creatively.
• Analytical Command: Proficiency utilizing Material Requirements Planning systems alongside strong data-driven evaluation skills to guide strategic, objective sourcing decisions.
• Strategic Sourcing Judgment: Demonstrated ability to select methods and techniques for assessing total cost factors (including duties, freight, and service terms) while independently managing supplier risks.
• Cross-Functional Influence: Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills used to build cross-functional trust, gain cooperation, and network effectively with internal teams and external contract manufacturers.
• Autonomous Problem Solving: A strong track record of taking end-to-end ownership of complex projects, requiring minimal day-to-day instruction to successfully deliver operational results under tight timelines.
