Job Description
The role involves managing US GAAP foreign tax provisions, international tax compliance, and transfer pricing computations for a multinational corporation. Candidates should have significant experience in corporate tax, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage US GAAP foreign tax provision and US international tax provision.
- Prepare and review quarterly and year-end US GAAP income tax provision for foreign subsidiaries.
- Compute US international tax attributes during quarterly tax provision and forecasting.
- Prepare and review US-focused international tax compliance and related forms.
- Monitor US international and foreign legislative and regulatory changes.
- Research, analyze, and draft technical memoranda on US international tax issues.
- Assist with implementing process improvements and special tax projects.
- Support local foreign country tax return processes as needed.
- Review statutory financial statements and associated tax provision.
Requirements
- Experience 5 years of corporate tax experience including US multinational corporations and public accounting.
- Bachelor's degree in US GAAP Accounting or Finance required.
- US CPA required.
- US international tax experience with a US-headquartered multinational corporation, well-versed in ASC740 principles, and an understanding of transfer pricing concepts required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and produce high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and a quick learner with a positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Alteryx, and NetSuite.
- An understanding of the 861-expense allocation process for FTC and FDII required.
