Job Description

The Engineering Manager will lead a systems engineering team responsible for developing and scaling high-performance, Amazon S3 compatible object storage solutions within the Everpure Platform, focusing on delivering innovative, reliable, and scalable data management capabilities for modern workloads.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the execution of complex, cross-functional roadmaps for object storage features, performance, and scalability.
Own the Object Fusion roadmap, aligning feature development with broader platform strategies.
Drive technical delivery of high-performance, distributed object storage systems.
Foster a high-trust, inclusive engineering team culture through coaching, design reviews, and standards.
Collaborate with global teams and partners to align priorities and ensure a cohesive customer experience.

Requirements

Proven experience leading software engineering teams through the delivery of complex, distributed production systems.
Experience coaching engineers, setting clear performance expectations, and fostering healthy, high-growth team environments.
A strong foundation in distributed systems, storage, or SaaS with the technical depth to guide design trade-offs.
Hands-on development experience for large-scale environments.
Track record of leading end-to-end delivery of multi-quarter projects, including planning, execution, risk management, and cross-team coordination in a highly technical environment.
Experience managing multi-quarter projects from design to rollout, demonstrating the ability to balance long-term technical debt with immediate business needs in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence across geographies, functions, and seniority levels, and to explain complex technical topics in clear, outcome-oriented language.
Willingness to work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
