Job Description

Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team focused on developing cloud-native data storage services for Everpure Cloud, ensuring scalable, reliable, and secure hybrid cloud solutions on AWS and Azure.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and grow a high-performing engineering team building data layer and cloud-native services for Everpure Cloud.
Own the roadmap and execution of key Everpure Cloud components such as orchestration, lifecycle upgrade flows, capacity and performance management, and disaster recovery workflows.
Guide technical design and trade-offs in distributed systems, storage, networking, and cloud services to ensure solutions are robust, observable, and cost-effective.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on priorities, manage dependencies, and deliver a seamless hybrid cloud customer experience.

Requirements

Proven experience leading software engineering teams through the delivery of complex, distributed production systems.
Experience coaching engineers, setting clear performance expectations, and fostering healthy, high-growth team environments.
A strong foundation in distributed systems, storage, or high-availability services.
The technical depth to guide design trade-offs in areas such as distributed systems, storage, networking, and cloud services.
Hands-on development experience for large-scale production environments.
Experience with cloud infrastructure providers such as AWS or Azure.
Experience with modern orchestration tools such as Kubernetes and containers.
Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Bicep to build and operate resilient microservices.
Ability to translate high-level product vision into actionable technical roadmaps.
Skill in balancing feature delivery with a focus on security, scalability, and operational excellence.
Excellent collaborative communication skills to navigate cross-functional partnerships and influence technical direction across global time zones.
Ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to stakeholders ranging from individual contributors to executive leadership.
Willingness to work from the Prague office in line with company policies, with exceptions only for approved leave, work travel, or PTO.
