Job Description

The District Manager at Pure Storage will lead and develop a team of account executives, focusing on sales performance and strategic direction while managing relationships with channel partners. This role requires strong leadership, sales management experience, and the ability to drive business results in a competitive environment.

Responsibilities

  • •Recruit and lead a team of Account Executives.
  • •Manage team performance related to KPIs including pipeline growth and forecast accuracy.
  • •Develop and maintain relationships with channel partner principals and leadership teams.
  • •Drive sales call activity and ensure team members meet or exceed quotas.
  • •Deliver business results including annual bookings and new logo production.
  • •Conduct weekly reviews of activities and pipeline status.
  • •Provide strategic direction to the sales team and support key sales presentations.

Requirements

  • •5 years successful field sales management experience in storage or core Information Technology infrastructure in a highly competitive environment.
  • •Experience selling to IT departments and IT management is required.
  • •Experience outside of traditional storage for the past consecutive 5 years.
  • •Proven track record of recruitment and associate development.
  • •Must have strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to clearly and effectively articulate Pure Storage's value.
  • •Must be organized, detail and process oriented.
  • •Ability to manage multiple tasks and use good judgment in identifying root causality and problem solving.
  • •Ability to coordinate Pure Storage resources to execute a complex sales strategy.
  • •Ability to use CRM and other online tools effectively.
  • •BA/BS required.
