Job Description

The Strategic Global Alliance Director will lead Pure Storage's worldwide alliance relationships with select Cyber Security partnerships, focusing on Cyber Resilience and Data Protection. This role involves driving demand generation, establishing strategic market execution plans, and maintaining key relationships to capitalize on emerging trends in the Cyber Ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead worldwide alliance relationships with select Cyber Security partnerships.
  • Establish as the go-to resource for partner and customer facing Cyber alliance business development opportunities.
  • Lead joint demand generation activity to drive bookings pipeline.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships for seamless technology and market execution.
  • Develop strategies to capitalize on emerging trends in the Cyber Ecosystem market.
  • Maintain key executive and field relationships between Pure stakeholders and Alliance counterparts.

Requirements

  • 10 years of Alliance management and/or technology industry business development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Ability to balance strategy, sales, and a roll-up your sleeves and get it done attitude.
  • Deep understanding of the security market, integrations, and solutions to articulate a joint value proposition.
  • Proven track record on delivering results and getting things done.
  • Strong business acumen and outstanding communication skills.
  • Capability to effectively build relationships with executive leaders in the targeted Alliance ecosystem.
  • Effective collaboration with multiple cross-functional stakeholders, including sales, alliances, product business units, marketing, legal, operations, and other Alliance stakeholders.
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally approximately 30% of the time.
  • Motivated team player with expertise working in a fast-paced, cross-functional manner.
  • Ability to establish field-facing and product BU senior level relationships.
