Pure is looking to hire a Strategic Alliance Director to lead Pure’s worldwide alliance relationships with key technology companies resulting in meaningful revenue contribution and overall strategic success metrics of the alliance.
Position Everpure as a strategic alliance partner with target alliances including a mutually agreed business plan that focuses on achieving the financial goals of the alliance
Develop and foster alliance executive relationships between key Pure stakeholders and alliance counterparts.
Interlock various divisions with the goal of developing personal relationships which allow each discipline to collaborate on best of best activities.
Embrace the role of the internal ambassador for the focus alliances
Focus on developing positions for Pure in relevant groups using deep structural understanding of focus alliances and navigate the relationship path through corporate events and strategy evolutions
Understand, interlock and maximize GTM motions that synergize with the business plan
We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience leading focus alliance specific relationships
9+ years of professional experience in a role that has consistently achieved revenue and technical business development targets with Alliances.
Experience in developing a 5 yr Alliance plan in conjunction with yearly target achievement
Established relationships with focus alliances executives and business line leaders.
Track record of establishing successful field facing and product/BU senior level relationships.
Strong understanding of the operations and motivations Technology Alliances
Outstanding communication executive skills including evangelism proficiency
Exceptional collaboration skills with multiple cross-functional stakeholders from technical to commercial divisions
Driven on success and passionate about creatively finding paths for the focus alliance to see your company as one of the most successful to work with
Must be willing and able to travel where relevant as part of the role.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.
This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.
