Job Description
The DevSecOps Engineer at Pure Storage will be responsible for building, operating, and maintaining secure infrastructure and tools for both on-premises and cloud environments, while continuously improving the security of the infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, operate, and maintain infrastructure and tools for on-premises and cloud environments
- Continuously improve the security of infrastructure and CI/CD pipeline
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure-as-code
- Aid in the development of containerized, immutable infrastructure
- Leverage tooling to identify and remediate excessive entitlements, vulnerabilities, and misconfigurations
- Update infrastructure systems to incorporate security policies and standards
- Engage with development teams to ensure adherence to secure development standards
- Integrate security tooling within the CI/CD pipeline
Requirements
- Have a solid background building secure and reliable software systems.
- 4 years building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- 4 years of experience with languages such as C, Python, and Java.
- Possess knowledge of securing, preferably both on-prem and cloud-based, applications, systems, databases, and processes.
- Familiarity with security considerations within the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Bachelor's degree, or the equivalent years of related experience required.
- Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment.
- You will be based in Bangalore, India.
- As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 4 days a week.
