Job Description

This role involves owning and developing a production cloud storage service within Azure, focusing on designing APIs, building new features, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and secure storage solutions for customers.

Key Responsibilities

Own and evolve a production cloud service for Everpure Cloud Azure Native, from idea to deployment in Azure.
Build new features and improvements for the control plane service, including user flows, system state exposure, and billing adjustments.
Maintain service reliability through test automation, CI/CD, metrics, and alerts.
Design and improve APIs and service behavior critical to real workloads.
Simplify code and APIs, reduce technical debt, and enhance service safety and operability.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners on design, integration, and incident resolution.

Requirements

Solid software engineering experience typically 3 years building and maintaining backend services or APIs in production.
Strong programming skills in at least one modern language such as Go, Python, Java, C++, or similar, and a willingness to work with new technologies when it makes sense.
End-to-end ownership mindset, including owning what you build from design and implementation through testing, deployment, monitoring, and iterative improvements in production.
Strong problem solving skills, with the ability to debug issues that cross service boundaries, APIs, and cloud components.
Curiosity and a growth mindset, with an interest in learning new domains, platforms, and tools, and sharing that knowledge with others.
Collaborative way of working, including clear communication, giving and receiving feedback well, and working in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
Experience building SaaS or cloud services, such as operating services on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Willingness to work from the Prague office in compliance with company policies, unless on PTO, work travel, or other approved leave.
