Job Description

The role involves leading the full sales cycle to drive new business and expand existing accounts within UK Central Government, focusing on solution-based, consultative selling of data storage and cloud solutions, building strategic relationships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to exceeding sales quotas
  • Apply solution and consultative selling to identify business challenges and co-create tailored solutions
  • Develop and maintain multi-level, trusted relationships with key accounts and secure executive engagement
  • Execute strategic account management, including account expansion, cross-selling, upselling, and new customer acquisition
  • Manage sales systems and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure operational excellence

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in selling to Public Sector - Central Government accounts, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Experience in leading the full enterprise sales cycle, from strategic prospecting to exceeding sales quotas.
  • Expertise in applying solution and consultative selling to uncover business challenges using data and co-create tailored solutions focused on measurable customer outcomes such as ROI and TCO.
  • Ability to develop multi-level, trusted relationships to secure and sustain executive access and engagement for maximum enterprise impact on key accounts.
  • Experience in executing strategic account management and account expansion through cross-sell and upsell, developing and maintaining multi-year plans for high-value customers.
  • Proven ability to acquire new customers and drive account expansion by identifying white space opportunities and leveraging channel partner relationships.
  • Strong sales hunter mentality with a relentless focus on proactive new logo acquisition and high-potential opportunity identification.
  • Deep understanding of the storage industry, cloud computing, and modern data center architecture.
  • High level of motivation and intrinsic drive, including emotional intelligence, strategic mindset, and accountability for delivering results.
  • Willingness and ability to work primarily in an in-office environment at the Staines-Upon-Thames or London, UK office, in compliance with company policies.
