The Army Account Executive at Pure Storage is responsible for driving sales of data storage solutions to Army customers, focusing on new customer acquisition and expanding existing relationships while collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop customized solutions.
Responsibilities
•Drive sales of data storage solutions to Army customers in the defined territory.
•Identify and pursue sales opportunities within the Army customer base.
•Develop compelling value proposition strategies and solutions based on customer needs.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create customized data storage solutions.
•Build and invest in relationships with customers to establish Pure's value.
•Lead pursuit teams and develop account plans to engage internal resources and external partners.
•Manage a healthy pipeline of sales activity to meet or exceed quarterly and annual quotas.
Requirements
•Proven track record of success in Army sales, with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
•In-depth knowledge of the Army procurement process, including experience with RFIs, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
•Experience working with Federal system integrators.
•5 years of outside sales experience with a focus on new logo acquisition or business development, consistently delivering 5-10M per year in revenues.
•Ability to assess, plan, and actively manage a territory to achieve maximum revenue and efficiency.
•Expertise leading a complex sales process with multiple stakeholders, while fostering teamwork and shared ownership internally and with partners.
•Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
•Avid hunter with proven prospecting skills, consistently opening doors to new customers and navigating seamlessly between the boardroom and the data center.
