SpaceOps Associate, SuperDove Mission at Planet

Support day-to-day operations of the satellite constellation, including data analysis and anomaly resolution
Develop and enhance automation tools for satellite mission operations
Identify, triage, and resolve satellite anomalies in space
Assist in testing and rolling out software updates for ground and space systems
Maintain and monitor satellite health and performance metrics
Lead projects to improve satellite operations processes and procedures

Pursuing a B.S or Graduate Degree in an Engineering, Software, or Science related field from an accredited college or technical school
Software development experience in Python or equivalent programming language
Familiarity with statistical analysis and data-driven development
Experience with data visualization
Excellent communication skills and a willingness to collaborate across teams
Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD concepts
Application must be able to access export-controlled information without additional export licensing being required by the Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls
