Job Description
The role involves developing scalable geospatial data services and tools for processing satellite imagery, enabling users to extract meaningful insights and run machine learning models directly on Earth observation data. It requires collaboration with engineering teams and contributing to platform enhancements to support data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new services and enhance existing ones within the platform.
- Create tools, libraries, and technical documentation for integration with solutions.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to service solutions.
- Contribute to the development of advanced EvalScripts for executing machine learning models on satellite imagery.
Requirements
- Experience with Java or other similar object oriented languages.
- Experience with REST APIs, HTTP S.
- Ability to communicate technical issues to clients.
- Knowledge of relational databases PostgreSQL, SQLite, InfluxDB.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Geospatial Engineering, or similar.
- Six (6) years of experience in software development.
