Job Description
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems to protect the company's data and infrastructure from cyber threats, ensuring secure global operations through advanced security solutions and incident response.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, innovate, and maintain security systems to protect data and infrastructure from cyber threats
- Design and implement security solutions such as firewalls, EDR, and automation tools
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents
- Manage and support security-related systems including log collection, security scanning, and intrusion detection
- Create and build automations via API, Shell, Powershell, or Okta workflows
- Maintain day-to-day security threat management
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on security initiatives
Requirements
- Own 2 years of experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining security systems, conducts vulnerability assessments, responds to incidents, develops security policies, and monitors networks.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
- Maintain day-to-day security threat management.
- Manage and support log collection, security scanning, intrusion detection, and other security-related systems.
- Ability to create and build automations via API, Shell, Powershell, or Okta Workflows.
- Experience with EDR (Endpoint Detection and Response), vulnerability scanners, SIEMs (Security Information and Event Management systems), MDM (Mobile Device Management), and other common security tools.
- Knowledge of cloud security best practices and authentication standards.
- Knowledge of operating system internals, and a core competency in one of the following areas: Identity and Access, Infrastructure Hardening for macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, SaaS Security, and Assurance and validation.
- Solid hands-on experience with Okta administration, workflows, and identity management.
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders while prioritizing tasks and work independently under minimal supervision.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation performing security incident response.
- Application of knowledge and experience with EDR, vulnerability scanners, SIEMs, MDM, and other security tools.
- Demonstrated understanding of cloud security best practices and authentication standards.
- Proficiency in operating system internals for macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS, and SaaS Security.
- Experience developing and enforcing security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and frameworks.
