A Senior Product Marketing Specialist I is responsible for promoting and supporting the company's Board-to-Board connectors through technical advocacy, marketing strategies, product training, and coordination of marketing activities to drive awareness, engagement, and adoption across key markets.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in executing marketing plans, programs, pricing, and sales efforts for product focus areas
Develop technical and sales enablement materials for internal teams, distributors, and customers
Implement and coordinate trade show demos and participate in trade show activities
Deliver product training on features, benefits, and applications to internal teams, distributors, and customers
Utilize social media platforms to increase product awareness and industry connections
Answer technical questions related to product focus for internal and external stakeholders
Drive pricing and quotation activities by analyzing market trends and reviewing special pricing requests
Research products and industry trends, including competitive analysis
Coordinate on customer projects and communicate with product management and solutions teams
Support product launches, promotional activities, and inventory control related to new products
Requirements
A Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Engineering or equivalent technical work experience.
Must have a basic understanding of factory automation and industrial applications.
Prefer five years of sales and/or marketing experience with connectors and cable assemblies.
Working knowledge of applications within Microsoft 365.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Detailed reporting skills and analysis insight.
Must be able to travel 20-25% of the time, including occasional overseas travel.
Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to sit and/or stand for extended periods of 2-4 hours at a time.
Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods up to 4 hours at a time.
Must be able to travel via automobile, train, or plane for up to 10 hours.
Must be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English.
Regular and on-time attendance is required.
This position requires a hybrid work arrangement with at least three days in the office.
