An IT Support Specialist responsible for providing end-user support across various devices and technologies, maintaining documentation, managing inventory, and contributing to the development of scalable IT systems in a fast-growing renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Provide end-user support for laptops, mobile devices, AV systems, printers, and network equipment.
Manage and resolve support requests through ticketing systems and direct communication channels.
Administer and support corporate productivity tools such as Slack, Google Workspace, Atlassian, and Microsoft Office.
Support employee onboarding and offboarding by provisioning and deprovisioning accounts and devices.
Document support processes and maintain an internal knowledge base.
Manage inventory and storage of technology peripherals and equipment.
Assist in office build-outs and setup of new technology infrastructure.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple operating systems and hardware.
Participate in building scalable IT systems and processes to improve help desk functions.
Support and potentially configure mobile device management tools and automate IT workflows.
Requirements
Two years of experience in technical support, desktop support, or a related role.
Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux, as well as mobile devices Android and iOS.
Comfort with administration and governance of corporate productivity tools such as Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence, and Jira.
Skills in supporting A V equipment, printers, and networking basics such as patching cables.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work directly with people to solve problems.
A process-oriented mindset with attention to detail in documentation.
Ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-growing, evolving environment.
This is an on-site role in Portland, Oregon, requiring the candidate to be physically present at the office.
