Job Description
The role involves leading full-cycle talent acquisition efforts to attract and hire top talent for Palmetto's clean energy initiatives, building strong pipelines, partnering with stakeholders, and enhancing the company's visibility in the Charlotte market.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full cycle recruiting for key business segments with minimal direction.
- Build and maintain a strong local talent pipeline through partnerships with universities, trade schools, community organizations, and professional networks.
- Develop and execute creative sourcing strategies to attract diverse, high-quality candidates.
- Partner with hiring leaders to align hiring plans with team goals and long-term needs.
- Use recruiting data and analytics to inform decisions, identify gaps, and improve recruiting processes.
- Ensure a high-quality, inclusive candidate and manager experience throughout the hiring process.
- Negotiate and extend job offers, leveraging market insights and compensation benchmarks.
- Drive continuous improvement in recruiting speed, quality, and process efficiency.
Requirements
- 4-6 years of full cycle recruiting experience, preferably in high growth or mission driven companies.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to be seen as a trusted partner and advisor.
- Proficiency in sourcing, interviewing, offer negotiation, recruiting analytics, and process optimization.
- Highly adaptable and comfortable navigating ambiguity and shifting priorities.
- Strong sense of ownership, taking initiative and following through with limited direction.
- Collaborative and able to work cross-functionally to drive alignment and outcomes.
- Data-driven and analytical, using metrics to inform recruiting strategy and measure success.
- Creative and resourceful, able to think outside the box and approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong prioritization and time management skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and sourcing platforms, such as Greenhouse, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ or similar tools.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
