The Senior Salesforce Product Manager is responsible for leading the development and strategic direction of Palmetto's Salesforce platform, aligning it with business needs, managing cross-functional teams, and driving Salesforce enhancements to support the company's growth in the clean energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, maintain, and communicate the Salesforce product vision and roadmap.
Manage and prioritize the Salesforce product backlog and user stories.
Lead sprint planning, daily standups, and solutioning discussions with the Salesforce development team.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and align Salesforce development with business objectives.
Build and track reports to support business operations and monitor sprint progress.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of Salesforce initiatives with other systems.
Manage end-user testing, communication, release planning, and rollout of new Salesforce features.
Lead the strategic implementation of Salesforce enhancements to support company growth.
Requirements
Three (3) years of experience at a technology company or consulting firm.
Five (5) years of experience working in an Agile development environment and participating in Agile ceremonies.
Ability to manage many competing priorities and complex projects.
Salesforce certifications highly preferred, such as consultant, administrator, etc.
Three (3) years of experience working with middleware for Salesforce BOOMI, Tray.IO, or other middleware tools, along with DevOps tools like Gearset or other similar tools.
Experience translating business needs into strong user stories and requirements for new product features.
Technical aptitude and expertise in the Salesforce platform, including various clouds such as Sales, Service, and Field Service Lightning.
Excellent organizational and project management skills to manage priorities and dependencies across teams.
Excellent communication skills with experience translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Strong leadership skills rooted in high emotional intelligence (EQ), with the ability to rally cross-functional teams towards demanding goals.
Regarded as a subject matter expert in Salesforce and capable of setting up working agreements with other teams on how to use, engage, and request updates to their services.
