Job Description
The Quality Program Manager oversees the standardization and continuous improvement of high-quality, code-compliant residential solar and storage installations, focusing on process optimization, technical training, and stakeholder collaboration to ensure asset performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Standardize deployment of high-quality, code-compliant residential solar and storage installations.
- Develop and evolve standards, policies, and SOPs for project approval and quality assurance.
- Create training materials and lead programmatic initiatives to ensure operational excellence and consistency.
- Balance project rigor with asset health metrics to optimize performance and standards.
- Partner with technology teams to improve platform throughput and reduce friction.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to develop, implement, and refine programs.
- Assess and incorporate new equipment and products into the company's ecosystem.
- Provide technical expertise and support onboarding for new partners.
- Identify partners needing additional support and develop methods for technical assistance.
- Maintain and expand the EPC Knowledge Base as a self-service resource.
- Monitor approval and rejection queues to identify trends and improve process efficacy.
- Track and report KPIs related to job completion speed and financing approvals.
- Collaborate with data teams to refine reporting and support process improvements.
Requirements
- Five years of experience in a technical or construction-based solar role.
- Three years of experience developing and operationalizing programs and corresponding Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Proven experience in developing analytics and partnering with technology enablement teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to influence third parties.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
