Job Description
The Major Accounts Manager, HVAC Heat Pump and Home Electrification, is responsible for developing and managing strategic growth channels and partnerships within the residential HVAC segment, focusing on expanding Palmetto's sustainable home energy solutions through relationship building, negotiations, and market development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage strategic growth channels with national platforms, software providers, and OEMs in the HVAC segment
- Identify, build, and grow relationships with major residential accounts such as builders, developers, property managers, and contractor groups
- Lead contract negotiations, pricing discussions, and service level agreements to establish long-term partnerships
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution, high customer satisfaction, and continuous improvement of partner support tools
- Gather and utilize field feedback to inform platform enhancements and partner enablement strategies
- Maintain high levels of professionalism and partner satisfaction through proactive communication and account management
- Conduct regular account reviews, performance evaluations, and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts
- Represent the company at trade events, builder meetings, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and relationships
Requirements
- 5-10 years of strategic account experience in the HVAC Segment.
- Demonstrable entrepreneurial mindset, and flexible approach to problem solving.
- Experience developing strategic GTM plans, and engagement and influence of senior stakeholders.
- Extensive network across the HVAC ecosystem.
- Strong presentation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 75% regionally and nationally.
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.
