Job Description
A multi-disciplinary TechOps Generalist role responsible for providing advanced enterprise IT support, strategic planning, and automation within a cloud-first environment, ensuring secure and efficient technology operations across the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support across multiple IT domains, from first-line support to strategic planning
- Automate IT processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
- Manage and maintain cloud-based IT infrastructure and services
- Collaborate with teams to define and shape the TechOps function within the organization
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across various systems and platforms
Requirements
- Deeply experienced in many facets of Enterprise IT, with a multi-disciplinary skill set relevant to a TechOps Generalist role
- Experience working in a cloud-first environment, with a focus on scalable solutions and no on-premises Active Directory
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and work on varying challenges across the company on a daily basis
- Experience providing support that ranges from 1st line support to high-level strategic planning
- Strong knowledge of enterprise IT systems, networks, and support processes
- Experience automating IT processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
- Ability to work as a multi-domain specialist, demonstrating expertise across various areas of enterprise IT
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a small, efficient team, supporting approximately 1,000 employees
- Proven ability to support organizational change and undertake transformational initiatives in IT
- Excellent problem-solving skills to build solutions and troubleshoot complex issues
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support employees
- Ability to support and maintain secure IT systems and practices in line with organizational policies
