A Staff Analytics Engineer specializing in dbt, responsible for building scalable data foundations and driving the data strategy within Octopus Energy's new Analytics Platform team to support their global business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Build scalable data foundations using dbt
- Drive the data strategy across the global business
- Collaborate with teams to develop and maintain data models and transformations
Requirements
- Experience with building scalable data foundations using dbt (data build tool).
- Proficiency in designing, developing, and maintaining data models and transformations within dbt.
- Strong understanding of data analytics, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts.
- Ability to work collaboratively with data teams and stakeholders to implement data strategies.
- Experience in a role involving data engineering, analytics engineering, or similar fields for a significant period (implied by the need for expertise in dbt).
