Job Description
A Roofer mate role within a growing Solar PV installation team, supporting the installation of solar panels and low-carbon technologies across the UK to promote renewable energy and combat climate change.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in installing SolarPV systems on UK homes
- Support the roofing process for solar panel installation
- Help ensure safety and quality standards during installation
- Assist team members in preparing and maintaining equipment
Requirements
- Experience as a Roofer or Roofer's mate, specifically in Solar PV installation or similar roofing work
- Ability to assist with the installation of Solar PV systems on UK homes
- Willingness to work across various locations in the UK as part of a mobile installation team
- Physical ability to perform roofing tasks, including working at heights and handling roofing materials and equipment
- Commitment to providing high levels of customer service and assisting customers with their Solar PV systems
- Ability to follow safety procedures and use appropriate safety equipment during roofing and installation tasks
