Job Description
A Data Engineer role focused on building and maintaining data pipelines, tools, and dashboards to support forecasting, trading, risk management, and PPA processes within the energy markets, primarily across EU regions, to help drive the company's transition to a cleaner, smarter energy future.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain data pipelines, tools, and dashboards for energy market forecasting, trading, risk management, and PPA processes
- Ensure the smooth operation of critical energy trading and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with globally-centralized and local teams to support energy market activities
- Develop platform infrastructure to support complex data engineering tasks
- Apply data engineering solutions to business-critical problems in the energy sector
Requirements
- Strong experience and understanding of electricity and or gas trading across one or more EU markets
- Ability to build efficient tools, pipelines, and dashboards for critical forecasting, trading, risk, and PPA processes
- Experience in complex data engineering and platform infrastructure
- Excellent problem-solving skills related to business-critical issues in energy markets
- Willingness to work in the Paris office 2-3 days a week
