Job Description
The Customer Onboarding Specialist, also known as an Inbound Brand Ambassador, is responsible for providing excellent customer service by handling inbound inquiries, presenting products and services over the phone, and ensuring prospective customers receive accurate information about Octopus Energy while promoting the company's values and offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for prospective customers via inbound calls
- Present products and services over the phone to potential customers
- Handle customer queries and objections confidently and professionally
- Provide accurate information about Octopus Energy's offerings and industry
- Promote the best aspects of Octopus Energy while acting in the customer's best interests
Requirements
- Must be an excellent communicator and have top-quality people skills.
- Must be comfortable presenting products and services over the phone.
- Must be confident in dealing with customer queries and objections.
- Must be able to offer fantastic service with factual information about our offerings and the industry.
- Must be the first point of contact from Octopus that potential customers reach out to.
- Must promote the absolute very best of Octopus Energy while being informative, friendly, and acting in the customer’s best interests.
