Job Description
The role involves working as an autonomy engineer at Nuro, focusing on solving real-world autonomy problems in areas such as machine learning, computer vision, and robotics to enhance autonomous delivery systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Solve real world autonomy problems in machine learning and computer vision
- Develop algorithms for perception tasks like detection, segmentation, tracking, classification, and prediction
- Implement behavior tasks including prediction and planning
- Scale data training and produce robust models for deployment
- Design and produce robust, well-tested C software
- Evaluate system safety for deployment
- Collaborate with team members on challenging problems
Requirements
- You are a recent graduate or graduating soon with a BS, MS, or PhD with focus on one or more of the areas listed above.
- You are a skilled algorithm designer with strong problem solving skills.
- You are a talented software developer ideally with experience in C and Python.
- You have experience working with machine learning or autonomous systems.
