The Verification & Validation (V&V) Deployment Engineer is responsible for supporting autonomous vehicle deployments, fleet expansion initiatives, software releases, and operational readiness activities. This role serves as the primary V&V representative in the field, ensuring vehicles, software, maps, and supporting systems are validated and ready for safe, reliable, and efficient operation. The ideal candidate is highly organized, data-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced deployment environments. This individual will collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Fleet, Safety, Mapping, and Deployment teams to support vehicle launches, fleet growth, issue resolution, and continuous improvement efforts.
This role is onsite 5 days a week at our Mountain View, CA or Fort Worth, TX office!
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in Verification & Validation, vehicle testing, autonomous vehicles, robotics, ADAS, automotive systems, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of system-level testing and validation methodologies.
• Experience executing field tests and analyzing test results.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Experience supporting autonomous vehicle deployments and fleet operations.
• Experience with route validation, map validation, release testing, and operational readiness assessments.
• Familiarity with vehicle sensors, autonomy systems, perception systems, and fleet operations.
• Experience with log analysis, data analytics, and visualization tools.
• Experience working in cross-functional deployment and operational environments.
• Experience with Python, SQL, Grafana, Foxglove, Jupyter Notebooks, or similar data analysis tools.
Salary Range - $160,000- $220,000
