Key Responsibilities
As Chief of Staff for Nuro Driver, you will play a critical role in driving strategic programs, improving execution, and helping refine the Autonomy Product that powers Nuro’s commercial partnerships and deployment roadmap.
Nuro Driver encompasses Autonomy, Controls, Embedded Software, Sensor Data & Calibration, and Systems Engineering, Technical Program Managers - the core technical functions responsible for developing, integrating, tuning, validating, and scaling the Nuro Driver. Reporting to the VP of Nuro Driver, you will operate as a trusted proxy and execution partner, working across internal engineering teams, company leadership, and key external partners to bring clarity, structure, and momentum to Nuro’s most important technical and business priorities.
This role requires strong strategic judgment, technical fluency, operational rigor, and executive-level stakeholder management. You will help translate complex product, technical, and partner needs into clear priorities, structured programs, and high-quality execution.
Requirements
You have 7+ years of experience in technical program management, business operations, product/program management, engineering operations, management consulting, corporate strategy, or a related field.
You have experience working closely with engineering teams, ideally in robotics, autonomy, embedded systems, controls, calibration, systems engineering, AI, automotive, or another complex product development environment.
You have a track record of driving complex, high-impact programs across multiple teams, senior stakeholders, and ambiguous problem spaces, proactively creating structure and turning strategy into rigorous execution in fast-moving environments.
You can quickly understand technical and product context, identify what matters, and translate complexity into clear, actionable decisions and communication, both written and verbal.
You are comfortable acting as a proxy for senior engineering leadership representing priorities, building trust across technical and non-technical partners (engineering, product, operations, finance, legal, people, and executive teams), driving alignment, and influencing without direct authority.
You have experience preparing materials for executive audiences, partner discussions, Board meetings, or senior leadership forums.
