Job Description

The role involves leading a team to ensure regulatory compliance and process excellence in the deployment of clean energy projects, focusing on labor compliance, process development, and cross-functional collaboration to support Nexamp's mission of advancing renewable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor Labor Compliance team members to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Develop, refine, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality assurance measures for labor compliance processes.
  • Translate policy and legal guidance into operational workflows, ensuring regulatory compliance across projects.
  • Manage labor tracking, reporting, and external compliance documentation to meet federal, state, and program-specific requirements.
  • Oversee audit readiness, maintain documentation standards, and produce external compliance reports.
  • Provide strategic solutions for complex, cross-functional compliance challenges and analyze post-construction labor data for decision-making.
  • Manage and optimize project management systems such as LCPtracker, Procore, NetSuite, and Salesforce.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless communication, resolve issues, and align priorities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or business administration or equivalent.
  • 8 years of regulatory compliance or construction program management experience or equivalent, with at least 3 years in the Renewable Energy industry.
  • 5 years of progressive leadership experience.
  • 5 years organizing and analyzing data using various enterprise systems.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to handle multiple assignments on a timely basis with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated experience in effectively communicating information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization.
  • Experience in showcasing initiative to make improvements to current work, processes, products, and services across the organization.
  • Expertise in building strong internal and external relationships with customers and stakeholders, instilling trust and loyalty across the industry.
  • Ability to anticipate the need to modify established processes and tools to proactively improve business efficiency and avoid misalignment of efforts.
  • Exposure to utilizing administrative permissions of project management platforms (e.g., LCPtracker, Procore, etc.).
  • Ability to ask appropriate questions, analyze data, identify root causes of problems, and present creative solutions.
  • Experience in managing external labor compliance consultants, IDOL reporting, and subcontractor AIA processing to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • Experience in leading labor tracking and reporting processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with Federal, State, and program-specific requirements.
  • Knowledge of establishing documentation standards, maintaining complete records, and preparing for internal and external audits to drive audit readiness.
  • Ability to develop, refine, and enforce Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Labor Compliance processes for the team and subcontractors.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality assurance measures, KPIs, and standardized workflows to drive operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Experience translating Policy and Legal team guidance into operational workflows, SOPs, and subcontractor requirements.
  • Experience managing and optimizing project platforms including LCPtracker, Procore, NetSuite, and Salesforce.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to clearly communicate objectives and goals, and to instill ownership and accountability within cross-functional teams and individuals.
  • Ability to provide strategic, sustainable solutions to complex, cross-functional challenges.
  • Ability to provide post-construction financial and labor analysis to inform leadership decisions.
