Job Description
WHAT WE OFFER
Key Responsibilities
Construct and maintain all phases of electrical line construction to include: underground, transmission, substations and wind farms
Establish OSHA and customer safety requirements
Observe and practice all safety policies and bulletins
Plan and initiate projects
Set towers and poles
Maintain and repair overhead distribution or transmission lines
String new wire or maintain old wire
Install and maintain insulators
Install and maintain transformers and other equipment
Assembly and erection of substation
Regular and predictable attendance
Other duties as assigned
Understand and comply with the Company’s Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable
Essential functions of this position will be performed at a designated Company office or field location.
ABOUT YOU
Requirements
Transmission line and substation line experience preferred
High School graduate or equivalent
Experience with digger derricks, bucket trucks, trenchers, and groundwork with utility crews is required
Must meet driver qualification requirements as specified in FMCSR Parts 382 and 391
Possession of a valid Commercial driver's license Class A preferred
