Job Description
The Master Electrician is responsible for installing and inspecting electrical systems to determine suitable sub-metering measures, ensuring compliance and proactive issue resolution to support Metergy's utility measurement and billing services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform installations of electrical systems for sub-metering measures
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper sub-metering setup
- Determine appropriate sub-metering measures based on electrical system assessments
- Proactively communicate and identify issues related to electrical systems and sub-metering
- Develop mitigation plans to address potential electrical or sub-metering issues
- Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical installation and inspection processes
Requirements
- Possession of a valid Master Electrician license or certification recognized in New York City.
- Experience performing installations and inspections of electrical systems to determine appropriate sub-metering measures.
- Ability to perform electrical installations and inspections in accordance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards.
- Proactive communication skills and ability to identify issues related to electrical systems and sub-metering measures.
- Ability to develop sufficient mitigation plans to minimize impact to business and clients based on issue identification.
- Commitment to continuous improvement to help the business operations evolve with changing market conditions and business growth plans.
