Job Description
The Installation Services Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the installation of utility meters in multi-residential and commercial buildings, ensuring efficient project execution and customer satisfaction within a fixed-term contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate the installation of submeters in multi-residential and commercial buildings
- Manage remote reading and data collection of utility meters
- Assist with billing and collection of utility charges for clients
- Ensure compliance with installation standards and safety protocols
- Support ongoing maintenance and troubleshooting of metering systems
Requirements
- This position is a 60 day, fixed-term contract opportunity.
- The candidate must be willing to work in the unionized environment under Unifor Local 975.
- The candidate must have the ability to perform physical demands associated with installation services, including lifting, carrying, and handling meters and related equipment.
- The candidate must have experience or ability to install, service, and troubleshoot utility meters such as electricity, water, gas, and thermal energy meters.
- The candidate must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record, as travel to various job sites may be required.
- The candidate must have strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
- The candidate must demonstrate a commitment to safety protocols and procedures during installation and maintenance activities.
- The candidate must have the ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and installation instructions.
- The candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications or experience in utility meter installation is preferred.
- The candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
